HODDOM 2 DAY RIDE 7th & 8th June 2008 hosting the Scottish Championships 2 day 62Km and the Championship 2 day pleasure series

Last Pleasure/Training entries must be received 4 days prior to ride date

Last competitive entries 14 days prior to the ride date. Later entries for Pleasure and training rides may be accepted- contact details below.

Catering.
On the Saturday night, caterers are providing a buffet style hot meal with a choice of 3 main meals and sweets. Cost per head is £10.00. Bring your own wine! Please enclose a separate cheque with your entry fee.

Could anyone dining on the Saturday night please bring your own chair/seat thanks.

Camping £6.00 per tent per night, Corralling £6.00 per horse per night. One horse per corral.
Water and toilets on-site. Payment for catering and camping/coralling may be made by one cheque
 
Venue is ony about 4 miles from Ecclefechan which is just off the M74.

Price: £12.00 per horse including hay and straw. Trailers to be left at venue field.

 
 
Horses must be 4 yrs or over
Juniors to be at least 10 years,
and must be accompanied by
a ridden adult.
Horses to be trotted up in front
of vet before and after ride.
Pleasure rides to be completed
at speeds of 8-10.99km/hr;
training rides at speeds over
9km/hr.

Hard hats must be worn which must be of current British Standard or better

Class 2: 2 day 62Km.
Scottish championship trophy to winner (presented at SERC AGM Feb 2009).  Hoddom perpetual trophy to winner (presented on the day). Commemorative Hoddom glass to winner.  Scottish Championship winners rosette.
1st - 6th Hoddom rosettes. Dumfries Speed category rosettes. Scottish Championships Best Condition rosette.  Scottish Championships commemorative rosette to all starters. Ridden under championship rules.
